Product Development Scientist III

Since joining AFB in 2007, Mary has focused upon developing and expanding her Product Development skills to continually improve the performance of AFB palatants. Prior to joining AFB, Mary worked extensively in the Dairy Industry, developing Stabilizers and Chocolate Dairy Powders to meet or exceed customer expectations.

Mary earned a Bachelor of Science degree (Food Science major) from the University of Missouri, Columbia; and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville.

Mary’s work ethic was developed and honed growing up on a working farm. Along-side her parents and brothers, countless hours were spent caring for livestock, working in the family’s huge vegetable garden and helping in the hay field. Now, her free time is spent caring for and playing with her dogs and cats, doing yard work and gardening, reading for pleasure and attending games of the Blues and Cardinals. The enjoyment of sports began at an early age and included playing some form of organized softball for approximately 30 years. Currently, she is enjoying watching her nephew’s sons learn to play.
