The author is the Director of Basic Research at AFB International, and has been with the company for three years. She has presented at numerous commercial and scientific conferences, including invited presentations at the Petfood Association of Canada’s Annual Conference and both the National and International Petfood Forums. While at AFB, her focus is to develop and direct research to understand the biological and behavioral drivers of flavor preference. She holds a BSc, MSc and a PhD and has published over 80 articles and book chapters in the fields of taste, smell and nutrition.
