Marcelo joined AFB in 2005 as a sales and marketing manager in Brazil. During his tenure at AFB, the Brazilian pet food market has grown considerably. Under Marcelo’s leadership, AFB Brazil has expanded considerably, too, including the construction of a new palatant production plant in Brazil.
Marcelo is a graduate of the School of Food Engineering at University of Campinas (UNICAMP). He also graduated from Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM) with an Executive MBA focused on marketing management and sales.
Marcelo enjoys building relationships with customers and providing the highest quality products and services. He believes it is critical to provide honest, accurate answers to customer questions—even if that answer is not always favorable to AFB. Says Marcelo, “It is sustainable in the long run for the customer, who will have trust and always the door will be open.”
Marcelo lives outside of Campinas in Brazil. Away from work, Marcelo enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and daughter.
