MARKETING MANAGER

A career in accounting and finance led Debra to the AFB International accounting team in 2007. After earning her MBA from Webster University and leading cross-functional project teams, in 2010 she transitioned to the marketing team. Today she oversees AFB’s portfolio of pet food palatants and supports customers by preparing analyses that help them select the best palatant for their needs.

Debra says she finds working for a global company that is customer-centric deeply rewarding and especially enjoys “the grand scale of cultures and personalities.” She holds the whole pet food industry in high esteem: “The people I meet both through my AFB work and in the industry at large have great ethics and great minds.”

Debra and her husband have two college-age children, including a daughter who followed in her mom’s footsteps by interning at AFB in the finance department. The family also includes two cats—Splash and “Diva King” Kiwi—and a rescue Saint Bernard/hound/boxer mix they named Bullet. Debra is an avid learner and mentor who enjoys running, cake decorating and listening to audiobooks on personal growth topics.
