Dale joined AFB International in January 2017 as vice president of marketing, drawn to AFB’s customer-first, learning culture and its willingness to invest and think long term. Though he travels about 50% of the time, he makes his home base at the company’s headquarters in St. Charles, Missouri, USA.
In his role, Dale oversees all marketing efforts and helps guide and implement AFB’s strategic vision for the future. A lifelong learner, Dale holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s in engineering management from Missouri University of Science and Technology. Before joining AFB, he held engineering and marketing positions at Veeder-Root Company (a subsidiary of Danaher) and product development positions at Federal Mogul and Caterpillar.
Both Dale and wife Tricia are native Missourians, though they have lived in many locations: State College, Pennsylvania, Chicago, Illinois, and most recently Hartford, Connecticut. They are strong proponents of youth science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) programs, endowing scholarships and mentoring at their alma mater. Also Basenji-lovers, they are pet parents to black-and-white Madigan and red-and-white Shillelagh.
